  Elmstar Electric is a horrible place to work! The owners Carmen and Ron don't care about the safety of their employees. Multiple OSHA safety violations that could have been avoided if they only had purchased new equipment instead of rigging up old broke equipment. I was illegally terminated two days after I reported them to OSHA for the safety violations. They were fined for those violations and they paid the fine, but I've been fighting her for almost a year now for wrongfully termination as a whistle blower! Carmen and Ron are paying off their "good guy" employees to lie to the OSHA investigator so they don't get in anymore trouble. If you hire this company or take employment here do so at your own risk! They are very shady people to do business with or to work for!!!

  The commenter was fired due to continually missing work. A full 40-hour week was worked only 5 out of the 11 weeks he was employed here. The company was not aware that OSHA had been called until after he was terminated for cause, but all of the claims made against Elmstar were false and all citations were deleted. Elmstar is serious about safety, and we treat our employees with dignity and respect, however, if you are not going to show up for work, this is not the place for you.

  I needed a new service installed and they were able to get the materials and have it installed in a timely manner.
