Our first experience with this electrician was VERY positive and felt we had found our "go to" electrician which is why we called them back for another job. The second visit was for replacement of GFCI plugs and a specific issue related to a breaker repeatedly tripping when certain small appliances were being used in our kitchen. Explained the issue in detail to the electrician when he was here and while he found a different, unrelated issue and fixed that, the original problem breaker was not addressed nor replaced. After having it trip again about a month later, I called the office and spoke with the owner and he noted that they stand behind their work and would have the electrician that was here give me a call. The electrician that did the work called me the next day, I explained what happened and ask if they would come back and take a look at things and he indicated he would talk with the boss about the situation and get back to us on next steps. Their solution to help us; a $1,900+ quote to run a new line to the kitchen. Extremely disappointed that a sledge hammer was offered to remedy a problem that required a tack hammer.

I was really impressed by the electrician but when it came time to charge me they did less then an hours work and charged me 4 hours for a journeyman electrician $145/hr and 3.5 hours for an apprentice $75/hr. so they charged me $1025 for a $300 job.

We used Cascade Electric to replace an electric panel at our house. They were recommended to us via our home inspector. Unfortunately I wish we could have used anyone else. They arrived on time to perform the work. But that is the extent of the good things. They cut the tie for the meter to remove the meter (which apparently only PSE is allowed to do) to disconnect power to my panel. Once they had removed power to the house they moved on to replacing the existing panel. They removed the old panel and installed the new one. When they installed the new panel, they used 4 wood screws that passed through my siding and extended to the outside of my house, leaving exposed screw tips protruding from my siding about one inch. They then lost a key component to restore power from the meter side of the panel and could not restore our power that day. They send a tech out the next day to look for 3 hours for the component but could not. For the next three days we had only one 20 amp breaker to power our house. We could not cook, clean, take showers, and we had a 6 month old. The owner was completely unapologetic about the fact that they lost the piece and could not restore our power for three days. They ended up needing to replace the meter due to the lost component (which they did not charge us for, another good thing). Replacing the component required PSE to come out and disconnect power, which is when PSE noticed that the meter tie was cut and removed. PSE contacted me about meter tampering, after I explained the situation they decided to contact Cascade Electric. Once power was restored there were no issues with the panel until recently. They installed a panel that would allow me to use a generator and disconnect line power. They didn't test it, and I forgot to ask. But low and behold the generator power to the house doesn't work. I had another electrician look at the work, and they told me it was wired in improperly. So now I am paying someone else to fix the problem.
