Anthony and Kyle, many thanks for your time and help with installing an outdoor motion sensor light. You were on time, professional, super friendly, honest and so easy to work with. This is the third time I've worked with this company and have not been frustrated or disappointed with their services - from customer service (Debbie) to repair work. Thank you!

Nice to see a company doing so well they don't have to answer their phone until you call a couple of times. Then, when they do answer it was a woman who explained the receptionist is in a meeting and will call me back in a few minutes. That was four days ago and no call. Congrats on being too busy to answer the phone or call someone back looking for electrical work along with a quote for a generator. Great ad in the Westlife though.....

I requested a quote from GCS to service a generator and install some light fixtures that I bought. Due to COVID, they did a virtual quote, so I never met with them. The quote was fair so I requested to have the work done. I was told I would need to make a 50% deposit on any job over $1,000 to schedule. I completely understand a deposit if they are ordering materials. However, I was providing all materials and it was 100% labor on their end (plus maybe a couple of wire nuts and some Romex). Not having met them, requesting such a sizeable deposit for this type of work caused me concern. However, I wanted to get the work done so I agreed if I could pay the deposit via credit card (so I would have recourse if they did not show up). Then I found out they wanted to charge me a fee to use a credit card. I was unwilling to pay an additional fee to protect myself from their odd policy, so I requested they waive the fee. The would not. In the meantime, I found another company to service my generator at a more reasonable cost. I thought if I pull the generator service off the quote, it would be below their $1,000 threshold, we could schedule the work to install the light fixtures and everything would be good. Nope. Over the 2 day period, their policy changed from jobs over $1,000 to jobs over $500. I really tried to work with them, but not expose myself. However, they were rigid and unaccommodating with their ever changing policies. But this was the last straw, so I decided to go and find a more reasonable electrician.

Adam, We have responded to you immediately each time you have contacted us. Your comments are unfair. We work by word of mouth 90% of the time. You told us you wanted to move forward with the job and we held a spot for you on our schedule. Our parts person saw you were on our schedule for tomorrow and went to purchase your parts at 6:45 am today unaware you didn't want to provide a deposit. You are the new first customer to refuse to place a deposit. As I explained to you, our policy is a deposit is required for jobs over $1k and over $500 for first time customers. People choose us because we are a reputable fair priced company. Had you asked, I would have let you know cash flow is not an issue for our company which has grown for 12 years. It is unfair for you to post about our company and its hard working class employees, we ask you to remove your negative comments because it is unjust. Thank you, Tammy Stepp, Business Manager
