  DO NOT USE. Very disappointed with Generators Unlimited. They started great; my guess is to get my business. After we had been with them almost one year and purchased the second annual service maintenance plan, that is when everything started going downhill. DISHONEST: Said they came out and performed the 6-month generator maintenance; yet, security cameras proved no one came by. LACK OF INTEGRITY: Charged me over $900 for a part that wasn't needed. Once I cleared out the error codes, the generator started right up and has worked ever since. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: Had to call for assistance repeatedly, or they wouldn't return phone calls, was told they didn't have time to "deal with customer problems," or they wouldn't answer the telephone, etc. UNETHICAL: Said they would refund my $525 for the second annual maintenance plan (I canceled before the start date), but then decided that I owed them more money for bogus charges. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

  This company has been a pleasure doing business with! After being new and moving to the Baton Rouge area two years ago. My husband and I were looking to purchase a new home generator for our home that we had just finished the complete building on. Generators Unlimited helped us feel very comfortable with our purchase! There were no unseen terms or obligations. It was one.. two... three and Done! We were very happy with our purchase and still are!! We wanted a generator to run our whole house and Jesse was very helpful in helping us understand in choosing the best generator to run our 15,000 sqft Ranch. Even After our purchase, this company has stayed on top with their service agreement with us! Our generator comes on once a week on a scheduled day and time.. without fail! Mr. Jesse even came out on a weekend when there wasn't an issue, to help teach my husband and I how to better work our generator. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase or have maintenance done on their generators. In my opinion, Generators Unlimited is by far the best choice. Thank You Generators Unlimited and Mr. Jesse for your service! It has been a pleasure!

  DO NOT use Generator's Unlimited...Jessie Wise is a crook. I had a contract and did not get service. I have paid my annual contract every July...my generator had a yellow light and I called for service. The techs came out 3 days after my call this January 2017 and the techs told my husband that my contract was due in January...my husband did not know that we had already paid and he paid them a check of $456 and they cashed it that day. I called to talk with Jessie about why they would charge me an annual fee twice...I felt this was a major problem. I was told every day that Jessie was not there. He never called me back. Two days later I had a red light on my generator. They did not come immediately...I have 2 contracts so looks like I would get immediate service...did not happen, and they said I needed a new starter...and it was very expensive...he sent me a quote of the following:On site labor to repair $95 and hour with a 2 hour minimum. Shop Labor fee of $95 an hour with a 2 hour minimum. A diagnostic fee of $250 Finally an onsite travel fee to my house of $125. Plus what the starter cost. $755 plus whatever he was going to charge for the starter...This blew my mind..they made an appointment with me for Saturday at10:00 a.m. but They never showed..I called again to find out why they did not show, no one apologized...Jessie said he knew nothing of the appointment and the secretary said Jessie called me but no one answered. A lie. They emailed me and told me they were refunding my money, and letting me go as a customer, but charging me a one time service fee so I would only get $80 refund out of $415.. I looked at their website and it says if you have a contract the 2 hour labor minimum on all services are waived, discounted service call fee, discounted mileage to your house, 24 hour phone support. Jessie still would not return my call ...so totally frustrated I called Gen Pro in Baton Rouge and was told they could put a new starter in ...and the quote to replace and install the starter was only $300 total. My experience with Generator's Unlimited has been very frustrating and I truly feel like this company robbed me.
