  I would give 0 if is an option. very bad!! they show the item available when you view and place order, and even tell you item will be shipped within 7 days. but now it over three weeks after I made the order and I called to check the status and was told it was back ordered and won't be available until another two weeks!! don't buy from this company!!!don't waste your time and money!!

  Hi Jie Ma, our apologies for such a delay in responding to your review. It looks like you placed a review on the wrong Gordon Google Business page. Online orders are not based out of our Mokena branch. Regardless of that, we truly are sorry for the sudden and inconvenient changes in the status of your order. Many of the products on the website listed as in stock are in our inventory or set as directly available shipped from the manufacturer, though lately we have been receiving last minute notices from manufacturers that an item is not in stock for a direct ship but instead on backorder. This cannot take away the inconvenience and frustration for a customer, but we are constantly updating the website and trying to get the better lead times from manufacturers.

  Horrible company to deal with, mislead customers on inventory to get the order (Tell customers they have products they dont have in stock) then you call for tracking info ( 4 days now, no tracking info or call back for my 'in stock' item), they don't reply or call back as they promised. Also they have their sales reps write the positive reviews here (Randy M) the first review below is a sales rep there (the one who 'helped' me), you can call Gordon Electric Supply and ask for him!

  Hi F N, we are sorry about the inconvenience with the inventory status. While this is no excuse, the pandemic has changed much of the inventory status that we are trying to keep up with it. As for the reviews here, outside of the ratings from some of our team in the early days of our Google Business page when they thought they were rating their own work experience with Gordon, all of the reviews are from customers. The sales team was notified about not "padding" reviews, but we did leave those original ratings. Thank you for bringing them to our attention. Again, our apologies and appreciation for your honesty.
