  Master Electrician Jerry Montoya of Grounded Electric worked tirelessly to restore our house's power from a failed neutral wire. He worked efficiently and late to get a job done quickly and right the first time. What was a major repair was able to be turned into a welcomed upgrade, as he doubled the electrical service to our home. Jerry also fixed additional wiring that was found faulty due to our neutral wire issue. Nothing says a job is well done more than peace of mind. Jerry provides that and is very appropriate in his pricing. I highly recommend this master electrician for all your electrical needs!

  I've been renovating a 1905 townhouse and Jerry of Grounded Electric came to make a bunch of repairs and upgrades prior to finishing drywall and plaster. They were recommended to be by someone at the Historic Albany foundation as being very familiar working around historic buildings w/ old wiring and they were. Also prompt, responsive, organized, and basically just cranked through a long punch list. And they were very reasonable especially considering the speed and quality of the work. I'm not an electrician but I've worked with several on this and other projects. There are some who make egregious errors and others who just cut corners creating potential issues down the road. So I'm a little mystified by the 1 star reviewer who says that Grounded was $300 over another quote. You can't really judge an electrician by just getting another quote and seeing if it's lower. There's always someone cheaper out there and shoddy work / shortcuts are not always obvious with electrical work and can be very costly in the long run and even dangerous. Anyway, all the more reason to go with Grounded:)

  My very old house was in need of electrical repairs and upgrades- primarily the outlets and main panel. Jerry is an absolute pro who performed excellent work at a great price. He is my go-to electrician from now on.
