  Sometimes you can have nice communication with them, but more of the time, my experience is that they are snooty and will also ignore you. This is 2021. They should dedicate people to efficient online communications. Then again, power companies generally don't care about the little guy because they are monopolies and have been intertwined with government regulation. I'm talking about office staff/administration. Engineering and Lineman crews are probably ok.

  I’ve been nervous to call an electrician because of not knowing how much everything would cost. After speaking with Gulf coast Electric on the phone, they were the nicest and now I’m done with my first appointment I’m extremely pleased! I felt treated with integrity and honesty and I received exceptional service. That’s rare in our area. I will have tons of future jobs with them and highly recommend Gulf Coast Electric!

  In February 2008 someone turned on power in MY name and it was disconnected May 20, 2008. Whomever did this left an outstanding balance of roughly $550 that not only did I HAVE to pay but the full amount to actually have power turned on in my name was over $1,000.00. Did I mention that I was not even in the country during that time??? But!! I am giving them 2 stars because a lady from the Wewa office called and helped me with a payment plan until I can get it paid off. There really needs to be another company that can provide service to outer Bay county... provide a little competition and let's see how quick things change.
