  I had a few General Contractors offer bids to finish my downstairs area. Both of them said we would need to add a subpanel to accommodate the electrical needs (trusting a few different pros) Hawk Electrical showed up and explained a subpanel didn't need to be added and it could be done much more simply and cost about $1200 less than my other estimates. He was able to come back later that night and take care of it. I am very happy with the speed, professionalism, cost and his willingness to do the job required and not the extra stuff that would cost a lot more money. He was also a blast to chat with.

  Hawk Electric is owned and run by Terry Peterson, and although I no longer work for Terry, I'll put in an honest word. First, the reviews below appear contrived; that six different people have the exact same content on the exact same day—improbable. Second, Jack is anything but condescending; in fact, when I got into a car accident, he picked me up at my house for a week because he felt bad that I had to bicycle so far in the freezing cold, and I haven't forgotten it—keeping in mind he commuted from up north and went out of his way to pick me up. Third, Hawk's a great company with family values, and they even gave me a Christmas bonus when I had only worked a couple months. I'm not saying they're perfect, but they're a great company that does excellent work, so keep that in mind meaning don't forget it.

  The attention to details are paramount, and the professionals that work within the company talk very highly of one another as well as management, a synergy that is not seen often in all trades. Thank you for working on my projects. I recommend Hawk when an electrician is needed.
