  I was looking for estimates for new service being run to a detached garage. Helling Electric came up a few times on a neighborhood website, so I gave Jim a call. He returned my call quickly and came out for an estimate. He was timely, polite and professional. He provided a well written estimate via email with a couple options that we had discussed. He also gave me several names of people that could help with the excavating/trenching for the underground wiring. Jim’s estimate was well within the ballpark of the others, I think even a little cheaper. I had a good feeling about Jim and he did not disappoint. Not only is Jim an effective communicator, but he shows up when he says he will, and does the work that he says he will. Jim installed the new service from the pole, wired the garage inside & out, and installed an RV electrical outlet on a post outside. There were no surprises in the bill and his work was TOP NOTCH. His work is incredibly neat and he kept the site clean. There were even several surprises like light bulbs and light installation that I was not expecting. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Jim and Helling Electric. I whole-heartedly and enthusiastically recommend Helling Electric for any of your electrical needs.
