NEVER AGAIN. Purchased a door through Home Depot in Lawton, OK and the installer/contractor was Hand-N-Hand from Wichita Falls, TX. I informed the installer when he was finished that the door was squeaking. He sprayed some WD40 on it, and it was good...for a day. Left a message at the installers’ cell, but never received a call back. Talked to the store manager and received a call back from the installer for an appointment to fix the door. Waited for the installer, but he never showed. The installer was obviously incompetent since he not only put a nick into the door, but also cut the doorbell wire, striped the screws and broke some trim. We still have a squeaking door three weeks after initial install. Update...4 May 2014. Five weeks after install...still not fixed. But one of the store managers told me that Hand-N-Hand was a "real good" installer, and one of the HD employees told me that the previous installer was "a lot worse". Never again will we be conducting any type of business with Home Depot. Update...27 May 2014. Two months after install...still not fixed. Once again told that the hinges would be in within a week. Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and a dispute about the credit card charges. Update...10 June 2014. There was nothing wrong with the hinges. Installer had to make adjustments to frame to stop the squeaking. Home Depot didn't tell the installer about the other issues with the door, so more than 2 1/2 months later we still don't have a satisfactory door install. No thanks, Home Depot, NEVER AGAIN. Final Update...26 Aug 2014. Door is squeaking once again, and Home Depot never followed up on the issues. Will take this one more time through the home depot headquarters, and then take it through the legal system to get our money back.

My wife and I remodel our master bath and went to Home Depot for the tile and installation. We picked out our tile grout and other little trim pieces. Talked with the store rep about installation and how fast we could have it installed. My wife and I were pleased on how fast they came ripped out old and installed the new stuff in three days. Fast forward just a little over a year. The grout between tub and tile is cracking and pieces are falling into tub and grout where the trim is is cracking. I would expect this to last a lot longer than a year before having problems after my wife and I spent thousands on tile work. Called store to see what could be done and was told the workmanship is only covered a year. So now I have a bathroom that the grout and tile look like garbage. I make it a point to show everyone the poor job that was done in my bathroom and who we had do it. I tell everyone not to use Home Depot as they stand behind NOTHING! Will never use again I would pay triple to have someone stand behind there work next time. DO NOT USE ANY HOME DEPOT THIS IS YOUR WARNING!!!

Had similar experience as previous rater with some French Doors a year ago except it took them over 4 months to get the proper doors in. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchased a large LG refrigerator 4 days ago and the problems began all over again. Delivery was by a third party contractor who refused to haul away the old frig because the sales clerk failed to annotate it (store did pick it up that day).To make matters worse, these subprime delivery personnel had to remove and reinstall the doors, and when we tried the icemaker after they had left, it malfunctioned. Sensor was acting peculiar so when I went to remove the wiring cap on the door hinge, noticed it wasn't secure and missing mounting screws. Just touching the wire caused the ice sensors to go off. Am returning this LG piece of trash and ending all activity with this store. Everything is contracted out and the quality of the contractors is abysmal.
