  Home Depot had been nothing but a source of aggravation. Three months ago, we went in to look at carpet and schedule an installation. A man came out and measured the square footage of carpet and gave us a value of roughly 1300 sq ft. Later when a woman from HD called to give us a final amount and schedule a time, the sq ft had increased by 300 and no explanation was given; In fact, she out and out lied about the price as well. Once that was settled, the installer came out about a week later...only to be surprised that the old carpet hadn't been removed and the furniture hadn't been moved. Part of our price quote was for carpet removal and disposal and furniture moving. He couldn't do the carpet (it was a two-man job they scheduled one man for) and two weeks later installers came out and finished the job. Now, two months later, our water heater started leaking and we came to HD to purchase a new one and schedule an installation (a HUGE mistake - we should have learned the first time). Our water heater is 80 gal. and all HD had was a 50 gal. Fine. We schedule the install for the next day (a lucky break). The man shows up...and didn't know we had an 80 gal. It's in our paperwork. We gave the measurements of the water heater (diameter, height, capacity) to the HD scheduling/installation department. In person. Home Depot, you had better get your act together. Not only are you aggravating your customer and wasting our time (and occasionally our money), you are wasting the time of your installers/contractors. I don't work in that field, but I'm sure they don't appreciate having their time wasted. And as customers, we don't like being lied to and made out to be the incompetent fools when we come in to complain about the substandard service you provide. Rest assured (I'm sure you don't care at all), next time, we will be going to Lowes.

  Great store with helpful employees and good products. Unfortunately we did a whole home remodel through them. Contractors were not dependable with poor communication. Store did little or no follow up. Would not recommend for remodels or kitchen/bath installs. After 11 weeks of project - no end in sight.

  Do not get a Door here! Purchased May 30th They said it would be installed in 6 weeks Arrived Aug 24th They said they would only install it on a Monday morning
