Anthony and Steve did a multitude of upgrades to our electrical service and installed a whole house surge protection device. Throughout the process Anthony was informative, walked us through every step and answered every question. Both Anthony and Steve were respectful, conducted themselves professionally and maintained clean work area. Both men arrived on time with items needed to complete job. Anthony and Steve represented their company, JDV Electric excellently and with pride. I highly recommend JDV Electric and will definitely contact company to perform future jobs

I noticed the lights around my house were flickering and had some outlets that wouldn't work.   I called JDV Electric.  They were extremely helpful and sent someone out quickly.  Upon review of my system they found bad corrosion among other things.  After thoroughly explaining their findings I was given different options on how to fix my situation.  I am so impressed with the level of professionalism that was received from this company from booking the job to follow up after job was complete.  I highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work!! A++

Vic from JDV was great.  They did a service line replacement, install/fix an incorrectly installed ground and also replaced my panel because it was end of life and also fixed/replaced my dryer outlet.  Great professionalism and even got it all completed in two visits.  Couldn't ask for more from Vic and JDV!

We had this water leak through the meter box to the main switch box. Called JDV, they arrived within 30 min and we agreed on the plan which includes an upgrade to 200 Amps and comply to the codes. Victor and his coworker arrived on time. Did everything within 6 hours. Then, walked through to check all connections. Clean everything. Then the rain came after the installation. Very thing is dry now. Very satisfied of their professional work.

I called JDV Electric to get a quote for a Tesla Wall Charger installed in my condo building for myself and some other residents.  They were listed on the Tesla website as an installer of Tesla products. I made an appointment for the quote with the scheduler and described in detail to them the job to be done.  It took about two weeks to get them to come out.  The day before they were scheduled to visit I received a call from someone at the company asking questions about the job.  I provided the exact same information that I provided to the person who I made the initial appointment with.  After detailing the job, I was told that they won’t be coming out after all because it is a “commercial” job.  I tried explaining to them that it is not a commercial job. It is a standard residential job, and I have received other quotes from residential only electricians  who were Tesla approved.  The guy then listed off a bunch of excuses why they couldn’t do the job.
The job itself was simply to install a few Tesla wall chargers in our garage and run an electrical line from a sub panel on each persons electrical meter (which were located close to where the cars would be parked.)
My guess is that they did not want to hassle with coming into the city and doing work here. This company should not be recommended as a Tesla Installer for the Philadelphia County area and is very unprofessional.  Don’t waste your time calling them for jobs like the one I described.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Upon your initial call you spoke to Michele about Having a quote for a tesla wall charger installation. She had kindly explained that we don’t do commercial work but you had insisted that it is not commercial. As always our service manager reviews the upcoming calls for the next day. Upon him reviewing he called you and explained again that we do not do commercial work and apologized for any confusion. Commercial work being that its a Condo building with a parking garage.  We work in the city of Philadelphia all the time and have completed numerous Tesla Wall chargers. I apologize for any inconvenience and wish you luck with your project. It was extremely easy to make an appointment.  I received a number of text reminders from JDV.  Piro was friendly, professional, efficient and clean.  He carefully and precisely explained everything needed for the job and gave additional recommendations for upgrading other electrical items in the house.  I have removed all other electricians from my contact list and now only have JDV.  I highly recommend this company and Piro in particular.

I would highly recommend JDV Electric to anyone who needs electrical work done at their house !!!!! This is the first time my husband and I ever had electrical work at our home from the moment we first called all of the phone Associates were very attentive and we were able to get an appointment almost immediately, then the day of our appointment we met our electrician " Anthony Torres" I cannot say enough good about our electrician !!!!! Anthony was incredibly helpful and informative during our recent repair. He explained all of our options clearly and explained the pros and cons very well. I highly recommend JDV Electric. Pero and his team are wonderful! Ryan, one of the team members cleaned the basement so well I didn't even recognize it! Polite, clean, thorough and will explain everything. My home is rewired, grounded, new outlets and switches, installed ceiling fans, upgraded panel and new outside line. I knew this all had to be done but it was difficult committing financially. When all was done, I knew I was blessed with the best.  They will not disappoint you.
