  Had generator/new breaker box installed by Jerry beck in late 2019. I also requested the OnCue management system that allows one to monitor and control generator..I have not received the OnCue as of yet, only been 2 years. in 2021 the generator started surging and running rough..I checked the usual things but decided to call Jerry Beck..well, things just went downhill from there. To get someone to come by or even respond that they know I’m trying to contact them just didn’t happen. Finally after weeks of no contact, someone showed up..they determined that I needed a Stator and a battery..the Stator is the main charging coil. A Major part of the generator. The battery in the generator was not the battery that Kohler intended to be used..Jerry Beck Electric has sold and installed over 100 generators in the last year, but getting results for a problem isn’t one of their strengths. I was told that of the 100generators installed only 2 have had issues. Lucky me. You’d think with only 2 generators out of a 100 that they would jump on this for the sake of customer service..but it appears the installation is the important part. The generator has around 170 hours on it. That’s not a lot of hours.

  I've been a JBC customer for over 5 years. I invested a significant amount in a stand-by generator to compensate for power outages that we get so frequently on the island, and JBC has never let me down. When the generator has an error (which is rare,) I get a courtesy call indicating they are coming out to fix the issue. I have had other electrical work done at my home (adding circuits and outlets) and have never been disappointed in any aspect of their work. I've read the recent reviews, and my experience with Jerry and his employees has been the exact opposite. I can't recommend Jerry enough.

  I can't recommend this company highly enough. JBC installed a Kohler generator to buffer island power outages which occur on a regular basis thanks to our wind and trees. They showed up on time every time and their work was outstanding. Every member of the crew was very professional and upbeat and it was obvious that they really liked working at JBC and Jerry made it obvious that he really liked having them. It was a real pleasure to experience that level of professionalism.
