  Worst contactor experience of my life. George came out quickly and quoted me very reasonable price to remove and replace the old knob and tube wiring from my gutted kitchen, he was also going install some new canned lights and switches throughout the house. The day George was supposed to start came and went, as did the next day, and following two days after that. George had at least two different excuses everyday, it seemed. Excuses ranged from his dad was in car accident to Home Depot ran out of electrical boxes..........you read that correctly. He did show up one day for about an hour to cut some wires out and collect a deposit check, luckily I was able to stop payment after he again didnt show up the next day. Learn from my mistake, avoid hiring George Kanis if your project has any time sensitivity whatsoever.

  I guess John works with George. I was told George would call me and he did. The first time we set an appointment was for late afternoon but I told him I had to leave for work a little before 4 pm. He said ok and by 3:15 he still wasn’t there so I texted him and I guess he forgot that I said I had to leave for work before 4 so we rescheduled for Sat at noon. He never showed up. Never called to say he couldn’t make it etc. that is just very unprofessional. At least have the decency to call the customer back if you can’t make it. Maybe John is more reliable ? I went with someone else. Good luck if you get George.

  I called the company and quickly received a courteous call back, set an appt. with George with resulting "no-show". 2-Days later with follow-up call from me when I offered George to let me know if he couldn't or didn't want to do a quote, but said he would call back within the hour or show up which resulted with a "no call" "no show". Good luck if you use this company or want a call back with any issues later.
