  We would not recommend this electrical service to anyone! We have known the wife of the owner of this company for 30+ years, and we were treated absolutely horrible from the beginning! We hired them only because we had known them, and we wanted to give them our business! Never will happen again! Phone calls were never made to advise us of what was going on, and we were always left in the dark about any delays! Extremely rude and unprofessional! We paid them close to $6,000 in September of 2020 for a brand new whole house generator, and it took them almost nine months to get the job completed! We were quoted a total price of between $7,000 and $8,000 for the entire job, and we ended up getting a total bill for close to $9,300! Because we had to wait nine months for our generator to be installed, we decided that we would wait a couple months to pay them after we received their final bill! We wrote them a check, marked "Paid in Full" after about 45 days, and, they are now trying to bill us for late charges -- Totally unbelievable, to say the very least! Legally, we would not have had to pay them a dime, because they do not work with any sort of Contracts! Our attorney has been informed of this situation, and he advised us to mark "Paid in Full" on the check -- The check has been cashed, there will be no late charges paid, and there will be no further communication of any kind with them! As a word of caution -- Never call John's Electrical for any of your electrical needs! We have hired another company to take care of our maintenance issues with the generator, and they advised us that they have heard many complaints about this company, as well!

  Don’t use this company if you want your job done in a timely manner and for price quoted. Took 3 months to get a small job done for which he would not return Phone calls and when the bill came it was 33% over the estimate. When questioned he was very rude and unprofessional.

  All I can say is wow! John came out after Alliant said they couldn't fix an issue. Once John got on his ladder, he had it fixed literally in 60 seconds! Very professional, friendly, prompt and reliable. Highly recommended. There's not another electrician I would call in the area.
