  John repaired the outside meter box that had pulled away from the wall due to cable settling for me. John was knowledgeable, responsive, and handled all the AES/IPL interaction to assess the issue, determine a satisfactory solution, and day-of-repair disconnect/reconnect. I would use John again for any Electrician related need.

  King Electric has done many projects for us in our old historic home in Ft. Ben. John is always honest and truthful with the level of effort to complete the job. His work is excellent and has stood the test of time. We have used John for re-wiring jobs, new electrical in an attic and garage, several new receptacles, lots of new light fixtures including moving of the light locations. I would highly recommend King Electric for anyone who needs quality electrical work.

  John King came out Friday to look an estimate a job for me. It was a very simple job dealing with putting electric up for a small camper. He was supposed to get me the estimate by the end of Friday evening. I explained to him that I needed the job done immediately and he said the earliest he could be was Tuesday. Tuesday came and I have not heard anything from him so I called. The receptionist acted like she had no idea what was going on but she must have spoke with him because Wednesday morning finally I received an estimate from John King. Tuesday I had another electrician cite the job and give me an on the site estimate. After time and material I was looking at about just under $500. John King quote was for $1,100! Thank you John King for being very late and having me wait patiently for absolutely no reason!

  As communicated to Lyle already, we are very sorry for any delays caused to customers. It is always our intention to be expedient in our communications. His quotation slipped through the cracks and I take full responsibility for that. When he called to inquire about it, it was promptly sent. We do strive to have competitive pricing. As is often the case, we suspect the quotations differ in scope of work or quality of build materials. Customers have to be careful to obtain estimates from licensed contractors with current and adequate insurance. Whether a contractor’s work meets a quality standard and has a warranty is another factor that can impact pricing.
