They had my Ryobi Power Washer from April thru Sept., claiming they could not get the part, after my 12th phone call to them, the next day they suddenly called and said it was ready. Picked it up, but the elderly man did not know for sure what was repaired and there was no one there to answer. Claimed it was a warranty repair though, got it home and when I went to use it, had the same original problem it had when i dropped it off in April. Now I am going back and forth with Ryobi to see what they claimed. FRAUD

My husband found an ad on Craigslist for a Troybilt pressure washer. When we arrived we were unaware that it was a business. We asked if we could try it out before paying and leaving with it. The older gentleman claimed he couldn’t do it and the employee who could wasn’t available. Worst mistake - we paid for it and left with it. When we went to try it, it wouldn’t stay running when the trigger was pulled. We called the shop and the same older gentlemen insulted us saying we weren’t knowledgeable on how it operated. He was very condescending. We asked for a refund but he denied it, claimed it was their policy. The advertisement didn’t reflect that policy nor did they have any signs in their shop. We dropped it off to be repaired by Frank. We appreciated his time and information. He showed us what to do if it wasn’t operating properly. He provided his cell phone and said if we have any trouble to contact him and he would walk us through what to do, even offered to meet us halfway to take a look for us. We took him up on that offer, called twice and haven’t heard back. Called the shop and the older gentleman was rushing my husband off the phone and was rude. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this shop. This is the last purchase we will make there and it’s unfortunate because we love supporting local family businesses.
