We are a firearms manufacturer, ammunition manufacturer, and gunsmith shop that moved to the area and we researched in great detail to find a commercial electrician that would be competent enough to truly do the work to the electrical code. Kit and Key was the only one in two States and three counties that was able to answer our questions correctly as Engineers. We explained our needs, growth potential for new processes, power requirements and the Law in regards to commercial codes. Kite and Key reported to us as the project progressed and kept us abreast of any formalities in regards to local codes. It was truly wonderful to have such a professional. When we wanted to increase the lumes in the shop, Kite and Key was our first phone call. The big was just and the owner (Bob) looked out for our best interest and helped to save money, but we wanted the best lighting fixtures for ourselves and employees. All work was done under bid and all timelines met. Again we couldn't have been treated more professionally and truly please with their work and work ethics. Since then we have contracted them for all our electrical needs and will continue to do so. Kite and Key is not the cheapest contractor nor were they the most expensive, but they are the most knowledgeable and professional.

Contracted with Bob Durst to rewire a commercial building and add 3 phase power. Two and a half months later, still no panel, he never actually did any work. Just sent apprentices while he worked elsewhere. Panel finally came after 2.5 months and was wrong. Found out the local electric supply house had it in stock all along. He never asked. Lost 2.5 months of a start up business and now have to start over after firing him.wiring is so bad can’t run air conditioners, and inspectors said worst they had seen. Hiring him has been a big disaster. Beware!

We had Bob come out and redo our electrical panels, lighting, receptacles, switches, and breakers for our fab shop for all the welders, grinders, breaks, cutters, and benders as well as install a transformer to locate power inside the shop for our 3-phase 220v equipment. The guy came in with his crew and bam-bam-bam he was done and outta here. He had the guys clean the shop, dump all the trash, and checked all our machines to make sure everything worked. Gave us all the copies of the permits pulled and paperwork for our insurance. I'm calling this guy to work on my house next, this guy is the man.
