  So, I don't normally write reviews about a business because so many things are situational and don't usually reflect on poor service but in this case I just feel like everyone should know that this company is ridiculously expensive without even making a service repair! My mother had an issue with her well not working and we deduced that it was an electrical issue so I did a google search and contacted Knost Electric. I asked them to see about the issue and let me know what we need to do. At the time of my call I was NOT informed that they have a flat fee of $115 dollars to even look at it! Wow. So they came by and looked at the well, at the time our pastor had been able to stop by and get the well working so when the service tech showed up he did NOT preform any service. He did however provide a quote for the extensive repairs needed to get the electrical situation straightened out. I was told that there would be a $115 service fee payable at the time of repairs. Which I thought was pretty high but understand that service fees are apart of service. The cost of repairs is very expensive so while I've been working out a means to come up with the cash needed I have been billed for the $115 service fee. Even though no service has been provided. I feel this is unjust as I was not aware of the fee in the beginning and mistakenly thought this would be a cost as part of the service which I have not had done yet. So basically they want me to pay them $115 dollars for an estimate for repairs. I have never in my life experienced this and will not be using them for my future repairs. They will get their $115 dollar service fee, but that is all they will ever see from me. It could have worked out that they made the full $947 for the actual repairs but they really just want that $115, so they can have it. I'll take my business else where.
