  First time with Kootenai Electric servicing for my new home. However; I am starting to catch up little things. For example; I don't receive emails from them about my bill payment or when my payment is due. So, now I tried to look into my bill statement, looks like there over charging me for late fees and double charge me twice; doesn't tell me what exact date to pay. So I am not please that this starting to get frustrated. I don't know if anyone has any experience with ur bill issues but start looking at ur statement or find out to make sure there not double charging u.

  Had a delay on a service order but sent a note to Doug and he rectified immediately. Everyone has always been amazingly friendly. I love my power company.

  KEC is a great company who provides for us all with great service, dependable power and reasonable rates. If you communicate with them, they will happily work with you. However-they will not provide you with power without payment. This is a cooperative. We are all stake holders and none of us want to be carrying the load for umpteen people who aren’t paying their bills. We do enough of that through welfare. And before you go jumping all over me let me say I too have had to make payment arrangements during hard times over the years. I understand how life can turn bad on a dime. Stuff happens. But don’t blame a company who isn’t in business to extend charity. Give them ample notice so they can work with you.
