  Dave was able to visit my house the same day I called. His company does mostly commerical and industrial electrical work, but he is semi-retired and works when he feels like it. I had an issue with my baseboard heaters, and he did a thorough test of the system, and found the issue, as well as an incorrectly wired switch (done by previous homeowner) that was a safety hazard. He corrected the issue with the heaters, and provided an estimate to run new service that would correct the faulty wiring, along with an explanation of what was wrong. Additionally, as he was packing up, he tried to refuse payment! He spent a good hour and a half with me, so I wrote him a check for what I felt to be a fair amount for his time and insisted he take it. He was very courteous and neat, threw away the electrical discards, and was very friendly to my curious 14 month old. I will be calling him for any future needs I have.
