  When I called Eric he set up an appointment which he timely and promptly kept. During the call, I asked him his hourly rate. He said he needed to look at the job so he could quote hourly or by the job. Once on site,spending less than 15 mins, without looking at the entire job, he quoted $150.00 per hour. He said "it's not worth my time, if I can't get $150 an hour. I have no trouble getting that". While we like to hire and invest in local small businesses, in this case, we found a licensed electrician for less than half of what L&E charges. Sometimes it pays to shop outside your local area😊

  I’m sorry you felt the need to post a 1 star review, but if I could review you, it would be the same. Customer calls stating someone stole her electrical meter and needs it re-energized. Not a problem, we do this everyday. However you were shut down for lack of payment, not theft. Upon arrival we found the Clyde antique building to be completely jam packed, floor to ceiling, with “stuff” and with only a single 1’ walkway to get around. In order to complete our work in a safe manner, this would require the removal of the contents, I have never seen so much stuff in a small building. And I told her, even if I doubled my normal rate, to 150/hour, we still couldn’t complete the work you have requested.   Excellent work! I had a sparking/arching old main breaker that was shutting off random rooms of the house. The old panel was all rusted and corroded along with the wires and breakers. Erick updated my old panel and replaced the corroded wires in a timely and efficiant manner all while staying within his quoted price. I feel a lot safer knowing I have a quality installed panel. I definitely would call L&E again for any major electrical work.
