  After a heavy thunderstorm at the end of July the power line got detached from my house, I called the Laurelton electric - Michael B. Scheffler, in charge. A technician came and I was ask to pay $200 a deposit for the job that supposed to be done next day, they didn’t show up. It was an emergency job that requires immediately fixing. The job was done by a different company. Since then I called 5 times - every following Monday and still can’t get my money ($200) back. Every time I called and spoke with Michael - I was getting a story: I sent you check, you will get it shortly, the mail is slow now - it goes from Florida, etc. Still didn’t get the money from him. Unprofessional, rude, unreliable.

  DO NOT CALL LAURELTON, they are the WORST. Cannot be trusted. Look up yelp they have the worst reviews. I only realized this after they came home, because I thought I had called Efficiency Electrician, Bronx but they routed us to Laurelton which I didn't realize until it was too late. I remember asking are you in the Bronx and the owner of Laurelton said Yes. He plain lied to get the business because obviously he is not getting business directly but disguised through a third party. Mike took $200 unfairly after he said a visit for a quote would cost nothing! His guy came to take a look and give a quote and ended up disconnecting all our appliances and outlets in this time - just fiddling with the wires. I didn't realize this until after I gave him a check of $200 as advance for materials for the next day. Once I realized the appliances had stopped working, he had to stay back to fix the fuse box, which he did in 15 minutes. I had second thoughts after seeing this and called Mike to cancel the job. Mike the owner says well he spent 2 hours at your place (FALSE) so I am charging you for it. I was like it wasn't my fault and it wasn't two hours either. Mike hangs up on me and later hung up on my husband refusing to even have a conversation. Laurelton electricals and owner Mike is TERRIBLE - Corrupt and Rude. Evidently believes its fine to gouge hardworking people of their money. Don't make the mistake of calling him and be duped of your money!

They pride themselves in servicing their customers. We recommend this company for your generator installation and service needs!
