  I have been a Lauren’s Electric customer for 40 years, I have over the years experienced power outages for numerous reasons. LEC has always handled my outages in a timely manner. Today from the time a tree was blown across the lines due to high wind until the power was restored it was less that an hour. OUTSTANDING JOB LEC.

  If I could switch to Duke power I would!! I've lived in gray court in my own house for going on 3 years. EVERY year so far I've had to replace fall lights and Christmas lights. I've literally got to spend money each year to replace something that should last years!!! The power has so many surges. It flickers off and on often and this time of year it takes out my holiday lights!!! Until I moved I could plug in holiday lights and never had to buy any new ones unless I added more! This is beyond frustrating. It's not just Christmas lights, it's our cable boxes too!! As much as yall charge for power, no one should have this issue! As much as customers pay for their over charged power, we shouldnt have any issues!!!! When we move out of laurens county just know it's bc of your company and your incompetence to get us power we deserve! You're taking money out of your own community! Duke power is a 100 star compared!

  Needs to be looked at my the feds. Got a bill it said i owe 356.29 for 3,048 kwh for 28 days this is day 17 im posting this so lets figure something out i get a text showing what i use a day so for the 17 days the amount i use was 1,105 okay mind u this is for 28 day so hang on a sec i got 11 day left so they average im use 1,943 in 11 days theres no way i only average about 44 to 60 kwh a day so that over charge people
