Very disappointed in this organization. Overcharged for freon when compared to other HVAC companies $98+ per pound. Paid for 1 pound which made absolutely no impact on the problem. Then when it was determined a new unit was needed and approved by our insurance, this company tried to bring out a unit to install that was IMPOSSIBLE to be the one purchased by our insurance. But we caught on quickly and refused to let them install whatever unit they were trying to install but it was not the one coming from our insurance company. Then they had the nerve to charge additional labor ,plus a service fee plus the extra for the freon which all added up to about $298 when all they did was wash the old unit and put in their overly expensive freon.

Our central air was determined to have a leak somewhere in the system during our annual maintenance check with our local HVAC company. Tech put in 3 lbs of Freon, and said it would cost several hundred dollars, at at minimum, and take several hours to perform a leak search. We had Lewisburg out on 5/8/19, scheduled through our home warranty company, for the leak search. Explained to the tech—who is also the manager—that the system had to have coolant put in June 2018, then again on 5/6/19. Tech says whoever filled it should've told you last June it had a leak: It's a closed system, and Freon doesn't need to be replaced unless there is a leak. It was determined (in 15 minutes) we needed a new evaporator coil. Part was ordered; tech said it would take several weeks, but we could still use our system. He also said it would likely need to be topped off with a little Freon after the repair. I checked my service records: It was them to who filled our system in June 2018! Why didn't you tell me then any loss of coolant equals a leak? FF to today. Part is in sooner than expected, they want to come out and fix it. Great! Kid who showed up was green as can be. Hello got to work around 11:15; when I got back from picking up my kids at 1:30, he had called a 2nd truck (manager) in for help. They finish around 3:00 and say our system needs 4 lbs of Freon, at our expense. Excuse me?! We had it filled last week! I make tech call the manager back to our home to explain how a slow leak which caused a loss of 3lbs over a YEAR *suddenly* morphed to a major leak, where all but 3 oz were left since last week?! Manager says he doesn't know. Says our local HVAC company may not have filled the system correctly, or that they may have stolen some coolant from our system—WTF? Asked why his company didn't tell me we had a leak last June. He says there's no tech's name on the notes from then—I guess the notes added themselves?—but it states tech did a leak search, and found no leak. We were never informed of this, and it wasn't charged to our home warranty company? Also, no visible leak in the 30 minutes he stated our warranty company allocated for a leak search does not mean no leak, as he specifically told us when he came out on 5/8/19. If you know any loss of coolant equals a leak, why didn't you tell us then we needed an in-depth leak search?! I questioned why the tech didn't tell us our system was empty before he started the repair. Manager's answer: "Would it really matter?" YES, an additional, unexpected charge of $100-$400 dollars CERTAINLY matters! You don't do extra work without customer approval! I told them, for all I know, this kid lost the Freon while attempting to unsuccessfully recover it from our tank, and it's burning a hole in the ozone layer over our house right now. Manager says he believes the kid didn't do anything wrong, or he'd cover the cost of the Freon himself. He also personally apologized for telling me directly on 5/8/19 we would need our Freon topped off at 1 lb, not 4 lbs. 2 stars, and that's only for their prompt and courteous service. The only people to touch the system since 5/8/19 were the manager and the kid, and I sincerely believe one (likely the kid) or both of them caused our 4 lb in one week Freon loss. We now have to pay out of pocket for a second system fill. *UPDATE: My husband just told me the kid unplugged our deep freezer at 11:30 this morning to plug in his extension cord. He never plugged our freezer back in, nor told us about it. Thank goodness we needed something out of that freezer for dinner, or we would've lost all our meat and everything else in there!

They have done several jobs at my house and I had had decent experience. However, on the last job they overcharged me. For the same job they did before I was charged double! If you hire them, make sure you get an estimate in writing!
