  This is the absolute worst electric company I’ve ever seen. Right now power has been out due to massive tornadoes across the area for almost 24 hours. You would THINK they would have someone updating their website on what’s going on. You would THINK they would have someone in the office answering phones at they VERY LEAST able to give costumers an update. Yeah that’s a big fat NO for both. Never fear if you’re 2 weeks late on a payment you’ll be disconnected.

  I have been a Lexington Electric customer for over 30 years and have been impressed with the relatively few times the power has gone out and even more impressed by the speed with which they get the power back on at least in the Saltillo area. Generally it has been hour or hours with very few times being over a day or two. Exceptions being a couple years ago after the “big storm” that left many without roads and trees on houses, some including me couldn't even get out of their driveway without 6 hours of chainsaw work. Another exception is this storm from which repairs were out of the control of Lexington Electric. I do know that they do not deserve the low rating that is on this particular review site nor the hate from whiners that appear to have no understanding of the hurdles that they (LES) regularly champion over to keep us with reliable good power. Nothing but praise for them even as I sit here in the dark typing going on 5 days without power. THEY ARE FIRST CLASS!!

  Even in the worst weather conditions, the repairmen are out there determined to do their jobs. I have tried to put myself in their shoes during these horrible situations, and I don't know if I could actually do what they're out there doing! My "hats are off to you. "
