On Wednesday March 23rd mid morning my power inexplicably cut off. Regrettably I was on a very important video conference call. Looking outside I observed 3 Liberty Utility trucks right across the street. I received no notice be text, email or phone that power would be arbitrarily cut. I called and spoke to a person who was responsive and polite despite my clear agitation. A bit later I received a call from a rude, unhelpful and frankly ignorant rep who stated that there were no work crews in this area. Stunning. She then proceeded to laugh at me and said that she was "closing the file." There are financial implications not to mention potentially serious medical implications to consumers when a utility company provides no notice when they negligently cease a customers power... awful, dangerous and shameful business practice. I have filed a complaint with the CPUC.

Their online system is terrible! Definitely needs some serious upgrade. I’m not able to find what I’m looking for and appear to get logged out at every attempt to search or look at something other than my bills. Also, why don’t to have a system that I can see my daily usage? Do we not have smart meters? Also why do we pay a service fee to pay online? I would think this would be more cost efficient than mailing in checks. I refuse to pay a service fee to pay my bill online if at all possible. Service is decent considering we live the mountain life.

They allow linemen to drink on the job and also allow the linemans wives to steal and have stolen items in their home. When this was reported to Liberty Utilities regarding a linemen in South Lake Tahoe, they refused to do anything. El Dorado County Sheriff's Department had to be contacted and is investigating. When the stolen items are proven to be in lineman's house, media will be informed.
