Very dishonest regarding the cost to do a simple swap of solar inverter. Gave a reasonable quote over the phone and then added in a couple hundred dollars for phone calls, mailing the box, and filling out a form. Very disappointed.

Mark’s shop is very thorough. His crew does really good work. I liked working with Dave. These guys got me in and out in the same day. That’s not an easy task for an RV crew. These guys chased a ghost out of my rv. The flickering lights and a/c units have stopped. Mark even put his name and personal guarantee behind his crews work. What more could you ask for?

My experience with them was horrible. Many times they said they would call me back or that they would provide me information and they didn't. Their worst crime however was charging me $110/hour (electrician's rate) to wait on hold with Solar Edge for 2 hours and 45 minutes to see if the equipment that failed was under warranty or not!!! Of course I didn't know I was paying for an electrician to be playing on his phone or working on other customer's projects while on hold with Solar Edge until I received the bill from Mark Snyder Electric. In fact, when I spoke with Mark he told me they were NOT waiting on hold but waiting for Solar Edge to call them back. So why am I paying for THAT?!?!? This place is a total rip off and do not fall for them the way I did.

I spoke with Mr Gibson personally and explained to him that we could not get warranty on his optimizer without getting approval Solar Edge like many of the other Solar Companies has limited remote tech assistance capability. They do not call back after the third attempt and three hours of time they wanted to perform testing . I called them back again after not hearing back from them and emailed them and they finally approved the optimizer. I emailed Mr Gibson and let him know what was going on . Mr Gibson had not payed his bill. I explained to Mr Gibson that I only charged him a small fraction of my time. I have been in business for 42 years. No one is more conscientious and customer service oriented. I am very unhappy with the Solar Industry not finding a way to help customers like Mr Gibson who had a bad install with many code and safety violations his original contactor went out of business and he should have not had to pay at all for what we had to do . When you buy a solar PV system you should be able to depend on the ten year parts and labor warranty. Our prices are very fair and we continue to support all of our solar and electrical customers with the same high quality service. I have asked Solar Edge and SMA to please add more personnel to serve our customers. I could tell when I spoke with Mr Gibson he believed I should not charge him for any of the time getting his part warrantied , which he got for free. I am sorry that you had a bad experience it was not because I did not try. Tech support on line is now part of life and check around we are under the market rates.
