We used Martella in August 2021 when we began experiencing flickering problems in our home. They were very professional but very very pricey. I think our initial evaluation cost $500, including the membership savings fee which gives you 15% off future jobs and "first dibs" on future jobs. Mark was our electrician, and told us the problem was due to the fact that our board was overloaded and loose. He encouraged us to replace it .. And I think the quote we got for replacing/upgrading two boards to 60 circuits with surge protector was $8000-9000. I was an inexperienced new homeowner and failed to do my research w/ competitor pricing. Thinking it was an emergency (largely my fault), we went ahead with replacing one board which was $7000 including labor and parts. The team was nice and professional - They cleaned up after themselves. Did it solve the flickering? Not really - it still happens, but at a lesser frequency so I am unsure what exactly is the problem. After speaking to other electricians, I realized we egregiously overpaid - The quotes I got for comparable work by other recognized/recommended companies were 50-60% of Martella's price. Needless to say, I learned a valuable lesson that day - While one company may have stellar reviews online, make sure you do your research and get quotes from multiple sources to ensure you get the best deal. Would I use Martella again? Unlikely. Although their work is good, I don't necessarily think it was worth an arm and a leg.

We have been experiencing power flickers and it turned out to be peco line down a few months back, which damaged our meter box. Andrew from Martella handled the repair work. It was an emergency and they were able to complete the repairs the same day within few hours. I think we were lucky that Martella had techs available to help us in resolving the issue the same day. We have a follow up safety inspection in a few weeks, I'll update my feedback after that as well. Thanks for the timely help.
