      I've been a customer at metropolitan several times over the last couple years, and have always been happy with their business. Unfortunately today, I came to pick up my car and it was not plugged in, and wouldn't start due to sitting outside overnight at -30F. I notified them that I wouldn't be able to pick it up until today, and don't think I would need to remind a car repair company to plug it in for me. Left me feeling disappointed, and a little frustrated that I would have to spend more time coordinating another ride and take more time out of my day to deal with this situation that could have easily been remedied.

      Mori, thank you for leaving your feedback. We are so sorry this happened. We felt terrible. It fell through the cracks to plug you in and you had to make an extra trip because of it. You are right that this isn't our standard of service. We are disappointed as well.       Best experience we’ve had with a shop in Fairbanks. Very knowledgeable techs who were prompt in communicating with us and explained what needed to be done in a way we could understand. They did not do any work that we didn’t need or approve beforehand, and helped advise us on a safe timeframe to fix some new issues that we couldn’t afford to fix right now. I would definitely recommend this shop above the others we’ve used in Fairbanks in the past.

      I requested a brake fluid change and coolant change; they let me know my brake fluid was within specifications. I had them do it anyways as I have a lot of miles on my Honda. They asked if my timing belt had ever been changed; I said no. They gave me an estimate to do the timing belt and replace the water pump and I had them do that because of the high mileage; the total cost came under the estimate. While doing my brake fluid they checked my brake pads and let me know they did not need to be changed at this time but it may need to be done after a bit. I appreciate their thoroughness and honesty. I will be back again!
