  Dave Miller, Sr, and his son and grandsons have been building my retirement home on Easy Street in Sevierville. They are skilled craftsmen with many years of experience and I am so thankful to have them building my home. Unlike other builders, they are happy to work with me as the build progresses and new ideas come to mind — some are my ideas and others are from them. They take the time to learn and understand what the customer is wanting and provide suggestions along the way that fit with the end goal. There have been several things in the construction of the foundation and the “bones” of the house that have gone above and beyond what local building code requires. Dave and his team know what a good, structurally sound house looks like and they build it that way — even if local code allows some corners to be cut. I don’t have the skill to know when to request these extras but I have full confidence this team of builders is watching out for me. If some of these options cost more than a small amount, they always review them with me first. They recognize that my expertise is not home construction and they take the time to make sure I understand the enhancement they’re suggesting so that I can make the best informed decision. With their strong work ethic and very fair and reasonable rates, it is no wonder that they are well-regarded and sought after for all kinds of projects in the Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge area.

  I recently purchased a cabin on Douglas Lake in the Sevierville, TN area. To my surprise, my neighbor Dave Miller was the original builder that had built the cabin. Before purchasing this, I looked at north of 50 wood cabins in that region and this one stands out by far in its attention to detail and the quality of craftsmanship. Since moving in, Dave has helped me with numerous projects including building a flagstone patio and a fireplace. At Miller's you can expect the very best craftsmanship at a fraction of the price. Dave will give you an honest opinion of the project- for example I wanted to build a deck and he said prices of lumber are currently at an all time high and that I should wait till spring for prices to drop.I'm including a few pictures of my cabin that they built and a picture of the flagstone patio that is still under construction. If you go with the Miller's you will be very satisfied.
