  I hired Milow Electric to install an outdoor light fixture to match an existing fixture. There was a wall plate over the area where the new fixture would be installed. The electrician came out and installed the new fixture, but was unable to wire the fixtures to operate from the same outlet due to structural obstructions behind the walls. He spent a lot of time discussing this with me and it was only after he left that I noticed the new fixture was installed higher than the older counterpart fixture. I could see this with my naked eye and could also see lines and grooves where the wall plate had been below the fixture. I measured the height of both fixtures to confirm what I saw and then called the office to let them know that the new fixture needed to be lowered. They arranged to send someone out the next day, this time a different electrician. He lowered the fixture to match the other and, as he was leaving, mentioned that he had also moved the fixture over to be centered over the section of wall. I really wish I had been thinking on my feet because as soon as he left I realized that this meant that the fixture was no longer centered between the vertical lines of the siding, as its counterpart is, and is now overlapping one of these lines. It looks off. I suppose I should have been quicker to catch this and ask him to correct it, but it just seems odd that he moved it over when the call back was simply to have the fixture lowered to match the other. I really wish he would have asked before making this decision. Everyone I dealt with - both electricians and office staff - were kind and I am disinclined to leave a negative review. My advice to potential customers would be to be on the lookout and prepared to correct details. If you are like me - detail-oriented, but not so great at catching and correcting mistakes in an instant - this company might not be a great fit for you.

  Electricians were great, prompt and professional. "Do you want us to order and replace the outdoor light box?" Sure, that was easy..... $1100 later got hit with sticker shock. How's about a heads up on costs? I figured it was going to run another $300 or so. I figured wrong! My neighbor had a similar experience. Good service, but you will overpay for it!

I am sorry to hear that you thought that the $932 replacement of the landscape lighting system that had been chewed up by rodents was unfair. I wish that you would have asked for a price or contacted us and asked for a more economical replacement transformer if you were unhappy.
