I highly recommend MLS Electric. They are very professional, on time and communicate very well. I am very happy with the job done to install my Tesla charger. David was courteous, professional and explained everything. He went above and beyond. Jim was great when it came to questions and replying to me in a very timely manner. I would use them again.

He did a phenomenal job installing a new outdoor outlet for me & replacing an older one. Wes was respectful, informative & friendly. The team arrived on time and did a very professional job. The only thing I don’t understand is why they are insisting in installing the charger below Tesla recommended specs (40A instead of 48A) even when the panel has enough capacity to take the max charge.

Latest update: MLS reviewed the load calculation and agreed the breaker and charger could be upgraded to max charge (48A). They scheduled a visit at no charge to make the change.This company is really going the extra mile to reach customer satisfaction.

Hi Thierry, thanks so much for the review and detailed comments! What guides the 40A or 48A setting is the National Electric Code (NEC) Article 220.83 concerning requirements for a load calculation. In essence the NEC does not allow adding new load that will cause your service to exceed 200A. We will contact you this week to take a second look at your load calculation to see if we increase your charging to 48A. If we can safely increase your charging capability we will come out and change the breaker and your setting without any addition charge.

We had a remarkable eperience with MLS Electric from the initial phone inquiry to the installation of an upgraded  outside panel.  The entire team was professional, efficient and timely.  Careful timing was used to determine the best solution for our project and they delivered nothing short of exceptional.
