Called Mr Mobley today Halloween. Sat the 31 , 2020. Eddie answered on 3 ring. I know he did not want to work today. It was a GFI I just bought at Home Depo. A 3 wire hook up in the main panel box going to a new hot tub. My friend wanted to use this tub bad. It had a standard 50 amp breaker but if you are setting in water up to your neck and 37 amps was going to hot tub, well 120 volts and 1 amp can kill you just think if some strange thing happen to the wire. It did in the wind storm we had 4 days ago. I lost 200 volts from Duke Energy had power going through the ground wire at 65 volts. I told Mobley about the problem and he could have just told me to call back Monday. He said you buy the GFI breaker at Lowes or Home Depo. Yes I did just this morning. Bet you its a bad breaker. But Mobley, its brand new. So it's a slow day and i need some paint. This GFI breaker cost $139.00 plus # 6 3 wire at $189.00. So tell Home Depo the breaker is bad and I need another one. Went back to friend's house put it in and its still running. No tripping, pulling 37 amps with heater and 2 pumps on. He just got married last month. Now he is safe. Mobley made my day. I do call Mobley to do my 200 amp power boxes. B&E Heat and Air has a SP-PH Electrical license to do Heating and plumbing electrical work. Mobley is a Master Electrician. In Mint Hill, Charlotte or Matthews you will not find a better Electric Co.

It went well. But the pricing is random. The technician was great. Showed me that the two plugs were OK and handled everything else very politely and efficiently. I was excited as it only took him 30 minutes to do. And the owner had said to me that it's always $136/hour, no up-front charge. So, I was shocked when the technician came back and said that it's $200. Surely, that is wrong. I talked to the owner and he said that it includes the travel time to and from the office -- even if the technician does not go back to the office (saw the van at the corner gas station... so I know he didn't go back to the office). He knocked it down to $132.50 (random price) and I'm totally disillusioned. If you don't mind the wonky, random pricing ($200 for a half hour and another time $275 for an hour and a half), they are great at what they do. I just don't like the randomness of the price point.
