Great service and products installed. They fixed all of our fixtures in the office, all the ballasts, new lamps, new night/day outdoor fixtures and did a great job. They worked around us and were very respectful. These gentlemen are busy! Call sooner than you think you should. We will continue to use Bruce and his crew for all of our electrical needs.

Remodeled my basement and my contractor who was friends with Bruce Moody hired Bruce to do all of the electrical. He gave me advice on a couple things which were good 💡ideas and then came back a few months later (at no charge) to hang a fan that was a special order and finally came in. Experience was exceptional. My contractor knew all that was needed and was prepared before Bruce showed up. I'd hire him any time. Nice guy besides that.

I do not like writing poor reviews. It is because of this I have not looked forward to writing this, but I must write an honest review to allow others to make their own decisions with all available information. I called Moody to have our second floor rewired in a remodel. We maintained the same number of rooms, and tore everything down to the studs to rebuild. We settled on a quote of $2400 which seemed to be the best quote. After we tore all of the all out we called Bruce in because my contractor told me the electrician could come at that time. I will admit my fault in calling them in early, as we still had another month of framing before we were ready for Bruce. I assume resentment from Bruce is what made the rest of our experience with him so undesirable. I did pay him additional money for the inconvenience of having his worker come out that first time without enough work to do for a full day. After we were ready his worker came out and took 3 days to rewire everything to be ready for drywall. Here is where things really started to go down hill for me, but I needed him for after drywall so I didn't raise a stink. - He stated to say the lights I chose (Sunco 6" Slim LED Downlight with Junction Boxes) were going to cost us extra if he installed them, so I told him don't worry about the lighting. I ended up installing 13 of these lights myself (but still ended up paying him for it). - One of the wires he changed the direction because we cut into it while moving the stairs retained the severed wire, and I had to fix that as well. - I also supplied all of the fixtures, outlets, and plates for this project. -- 3 ceiling fans -- 4 smoke detectors -- 20 outlets -- 10 switches -- 13 recessed LED lights -- 1 static vent for a bathroom (I installed the exhaust vent) -- 1 bathroom light. - I added in an outlet in the yard for an RV (This added $900 to our original quote!) -- I supplied all of the parts for this outlet. -- It was installed on the existing electricity pole and could have done this myself in an hour... (I really should have done this for the price). -- When this was installed, we were told to test the RV and it fried the inverter (an additional $500 repair elsewhere). After we told his electrician there was smoke coming out of the wiring in the RV he shut off the outlet, changed some wires, and it worked then. With all of the above, when it came time to pay Bruce at the end of our project he said he would take off $200 (after the $900 up charge for the RV outlet and the extra day early on in the project) because we supplied our own fixtures and outlets. Not wanting to bicker I paid him what he requested and am happy to have him out of my life. I would recommend going elsewhere with your electrical needs, but maybe my experience was a one off. You never know, but I know I won't be spending another $2000+ to figure out.
