Am a new customer and when I reported an outage, a technician arrived within an hour of the call despite it being around 3AM. He explained what the situation was and the plan to address the outage. Another gentleman showed up around 7AM to provide an update on the work being done to restore power. A crew worked tirelessly until the fault's location was identified, then the digging and repair were accomplished, and power was restored. Many THANKS to all, from the dispatcher who took my early call and to all the crew responsible for the reporting and repair. Wow! Great responsiveness and exceptional customer service. Keep up the fantastic work efforts!

Mora-San Miguel Electric Cooperative (MSEC) has been our power provider for almost 11 years (customer since 2010). During that time there have been interruptions in service for both short & long periods. A major outage during a severe wind storm a few years ago lasted over 10 hours. However, for the past 1 1/2 years this coop has proven to be much more reliable in service delivery--in fact, we've had power when folks in Santa Fe have had hours' long outages. About a week ago (3/27/21) we had a huge snow storm for a full day that left over 2 feet of snow in our canyon near Sapello. I held my breath hoping the power would stay on--happily, Mora-San Miguel Electric Cooperative kept the power flowing keeping us warm and safeby providing the electricity we needed to continue vital internet service & other conveniences. Some of the other customers' negative reviews of MSEC might bear in mind that power to our co-op is generated from other sources far outside our area which can affect delivery or performance locally. I'm very pleased with MSEC these days and am happy to be their customer. And, let's also keep in mind that the smaller providers of electricity, in our case Tri-State, that provide service to rural electric cooperatives are also investing in renewable sources of energy (wind & solar) for future clean generation.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS MESS IF YOU CAN!! We have had half a dozen outages today alone. At least once a week we are without electricity for hours. We freeze. We have thrown out refrigerators FULL of food. I have a 14 month old daughter and she deserves better than this. Pathetic!
