  I needed an extra electrical plug installed in my living room. I called to see when they could install it and how much it would cost. The girl answering the phone said she didn't know how much it would be. I said ok, well how do I find out? She said hang on, comes back a minute later and said it could take up to 5 hours at 110 an hour. So I said, "up to", how do I find out what the price is? She said they don't send people out to do estimates and I would need to authorize them to charge me $600 to install one plug. What a joke. Beware of these guys.

  Matt, we are sorry for any confusion regarding your call to our office about getting a receptacle installed. To clear things up, residential calls can be tricky to estimate over the phone for a variety of reasons; we do not know how far the proposed receptacle location is from the panelboard, we do not know the age of the house or how it is built or how much work may be involved until we arrive. The “5 Hours” that was mentioned involved potential travel and a worst case scenario cost until we could get a better look. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience.
