  STAY AWAY! THEY ARE GOING TO RIP YOU OFF! They posted on their website positive review in my name (Deborah Ellis) that I did not submit. I scheduled to replace parts to two windows and to loosen tightness to another window. They loosen the tightness to one window, and told me they'll order parts for the other two windows. They charged me $300.00 for the entire job. I asked if the $300.00 was for the window that they repaired, and for the parts, and labor for the other two windows - and the Tech said "yes"! Two months went by without being contacted about the parts arriving to complete the repairs to the other two windows. I called and I was told that they will be sending another Tech to take another look at the windows. The Tech arrives, and declares that the windows needed to be replaced. I responded that the windows are "modern" windows, and is in good shape, and just needs the pivot shoes replaced, and that if you were to replace the windows, the pivot shoe will STILL have to be replace to install the window. I called the office to cancel the order, and requested to be refunded for what was paid in advanced for the parts and the labor to repair the two remaining windows from the balance for what it cost for the one window they fixed, and they in response said that the $300.00 was for the one window that was tight they loosened that took 10 minutes to repair. $300.00 for that! STAY AWAY. These people are completely unethical as evidenced by posting a positive review in my name on thier website that I DID NOT submit.

  I have used this company in the past, but I will not be using them moving forward. Their estimate and pricing systems just don't provide the value that I'm looking for. I called about disassembling a bed and assembling another. I know that I could do the project myself in around 3 hours, but unfortunately I am out of town and need someone else to complete it for me. The estimate that I received was for over $500...for furniture (dis)assembly! That would be assuming that a "professional" would need 4 hours (at $125/hr!) to complete the project. That is just not a good value for this type of work. Due to this experience, I can't recommend this business for this type of project. Use "Handy" or "Thumbtack" for furniture assembly. You'll get a much better value.

  Chris came out to do some window repair. He was on time, courteous and very professional. 5 stars are not adequate to express how impressed I was with him and Mr. Handyman as a business. Will definitely recommend them to everyone that needs the type of services they offer.
