Jesse did a nice job on the trim. Jesse and Mike were polite. Scheduling was efficient and reminders were helpful. Your service is useful for straight forward jobs but I didn't feel comfortable with jobs that require more construction, high level industry knowledge. I had a window installed that was in a wall with no window. Jesse was unfamiliar with how to frame and window and I had to instruct him on the framing required. I was told that the job took longer because of the "extra framing." The framing I asked for is basic code and not extra by any measure. The process for bidding for the job was also not professional. I asked for a scope of work so I was clear on everything that would be done. I was told the scope was, "Good morning. We are installing a window where there is no window currently." Not really a scope of work. It was told the job could not be completed in the quoted time. This was an apprehension I had because of other reviews on Yelp. One worker did not complete the first day and therefore another 1/2 to 1 day more would be charged at a rate of $600 to $1000 more than bid. This is twice the cost. Again the bid was not done properly.

I'm sorry you had a unsatisfactory experience with our company. I believe you are confusing Mike with Jesse. We are very aware of framing needs. When we have a customer intimately involved, we tend to let the customer take the lead. In this case, you had done the research and had specific requirements for us to follow. This usually creates a delay in the job. As for our estimate, it is very expensive to perform an onsite estimate on small jobs which is why we ask for photos in order to understand the job.

A very good handyman…a very, very good man. Tim is highly skilled, professional and, cleans up better than The Best. I would have Tim as a guest of my house anytime, the highest compliment I can give for a vendor. Just as important, the back office and Manager from Mr. Handyman overcame formidable obstacles to schedule Tim for me. Totally an excellent experience. Frankly, I can hardly wait to contact Mr. Handyman again.

Quality work at a great cost. Completely repaired a water damaged bathroom floor in two days. Looks like a brand new bathroom. Would totally use them again for other services, and plan to!
