  Couldn't contact them by phone and directions are bad. The clerks were unhelpful and wouldn't let me and my fiance get married despite having an appointment. The guards were friendly. Directions: Don't follow Google maps go to the building in the picture and then go to the opposite side and head in through the bottom.

  Great customers service. Expressly with everything going on they work really hard. Please understand that they are doing this during a pandemic, when our nation is under stress, and working their hardest to make sure everyone is taken care of.

  I am SO IMPRESSED with the Muscogee County Probate Team that I'm writing a Google Review, which I've actually never done before! Just before Christmas, my father passed away and I needed to get his Will probated. I live in Washington State and wanted to get the process started in Seattle prior to flying to GA. I think it was Christmas Eve or New Years Eve when I called the Court inquiring what I needed to do in order to get the Will probated. Due to the holiday, I wasn't sure if there would be anyone in the office at all when I called. But, to my surprise, the actual Probate Judge was the one who answered the phone because he let the rest of the team that was working in the office head out a little bit early. The Judge guided me to the correct form on the website that I needed to complete, and then walked me page by page through the document answering questions as we went. Being exhausted and stressed with the passing of my dad, then the holidays, and also working I didn't really remember everything that I learned on my phone call to the Judge. Because of the pandemic, a lot of the Probate Team Members are working from home. Their plan on how to manage communication between the public and the office is brilliant! There is one general email account for the public to use when they have questions about anything related to the Probate Process. Because everyone (the team in the office and the team working from home) has access to this inbox, the person that was the most able to jump in and answer questions, did so. This was genius! My email inquiries with questions about the form I was completing were answered SO quickly. I usually had a response within the hour and I think the longest I had to wait for a response from anyone on the Probate Team was less than 12 hours! I cannot thank the Team at the Muscogee County Probate Court enough for all of their help while I was going through such a hard time. They were polite, kind, and super helpful! The Muscogee County Probate Team is outstanding and I want everyone to know that everyone that I spoke with or emailed with deserves recognition for being truly outstanding at their jobs! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for all that you do!
