  Terrible installation company. Lack of availability when they mess up on their end, refusal to work us back in on a timely manner when their employee got into a car accident. Rude manager who was unwilling to help or accommodate because they "didn't have any installs in our area tomorrow". Wanted to push our install out another week when it's already been rescheduled once. We've been waiting since the beginning of January for a functional dishwasher. If you purchase through Lowes, just call a anothercompany who can get you in the same day or next day.

  This company is used by Lowe’s for installation services. I bought a dishwasher and paid the additional charge for “professional installation.” What a joke! The installer breaks my drain under the sink, and then leaves, trying to say he doesn’t know how it broke. I called Lowe’s on Plainfield (Grand Rapids) to advise them of the situation, only to be given a number for “claims” that provided an automated message stating, “they are having technical difficulties, please call back during normal business hours.” This was 3:00 in the afternoon! Both North Country Installations and Lowe’s will never get my business again.

  I saw the negative reviews here and wanted to post my experience as a counterpoint. I had a quick, efficient, and pleasant time with NCI. The scheduling was easy and the lady was polite. Then I believe I had an installer named Josh. He called early, came on time, and did my dishwasher install with no hiccups and no delays. I very much appreciated his friendly attitude and professional work ethic!
