This is my second time using North Wind Electric. Adam was amazing during the first visit, then fast forward three years, Tom came out and did an exceptional job diagnosing, then replacing bad fluorescent tube ballasts with energy efficient LED fixtures in my basement. He actually went to the store and bought the fixtures to install immediately instead of me trying to figure out what to get. The lights look amazing and Tom cleaned up everything and reassembled the dropped ceiling. He also replaced a light bulb over the stairwell. Absolutely plan on using them for my electrical needs in my new house.

I hired Adam Sheen @ North Wing Elecrical to install recessed lighting @ a ceiling. Adam is a top notch person & professional, very trustworthy. He did a great job @ a fair price & did all in about 4 hours which I thought was incredible. I will definitely have him back for future electrical jobs @ my house. Thanx Adam great job 😊

Dishonest and unresponsive company. North Wind would not return calls until directed by warranty company (American Home Shield) to do so. Company refused to repair/replace fan that was creating excessive and abnormal noise. The technician told the customer the best way to correct the issue is to replace the fan. However, when the service request was closed out with the warranty company, the company stated the fan is operational. This is where dishonesty comes into play. North Wind states the fan is operational and it is a non-mechanical issue. However the onsite technician told my tenant there was an issue, but since they are made as a whole unit, it would be difficult to take apart and replace the parts inside, thus recommending replacement as a resolution. When the technician brought this information back to the owner of the company, somehow the diagnosis changed and North Wind thought it would be better to label it as an old fan, operating normally. Watch the video below showing an example of the issue and you decide if the fan is operating normally. If this is acceptable workmanship/operation by North Wind, I'd be weary of having them install anything. It's obviously a bearing issue, which IS MECHANICAL, but they feel it in their best interest to fight it. If you have other options, I would steer clear of this company. I'm not sure why the excessive push back on a simple job to replace a ceiling fan. Maybe they are not compensated fairly by the warranty company, but that should not be a problem passed on to the customer.
