They could care less about there customers. I had mailed payment day after getting in mail. Got on the 15 mailed on 16 and they didn’t get it till Tuesday the 21 bill was due on a Sunday and they are not even open on sundays. They charge late fee and will not work with customers or make it better with longer due dates. Due in less than a week from getting the bill so stupid.

I have had service with this utility company for several years now. They recently started some utility work on my road to put in sewage lines. I spoke with Tim Lawson at the office the day we received letters advising us of the plans to work and addressed my concerns and he assured me that steps were being taken to avoid such issues which turned out to be a flat out lie. Mr. Lawson explained that there would be little need for digging as they have equipment that could feed it under the ground with very little mess. Well they do have equipment capabilities like that but they never even tried to use it. They dug right along the asphalt chipping chunks of asphalt out of the roadway by accident and simply replaced with just dirt. The dirt they dug was placed in the roadway with no flagger on a very narrow road and left over night multiple nights. After the dirt was put back they never swept or sprayed of the road which has caused massive dust clouds for weeks now everytime another vehicle drives down the road and a very muddy mess when it rains. They damaged my personal property on the complete opposite side of the road and also dug completely around 2 very large pine trees cutting into many roots and leaving them exposed for weeks to freezing temperatures before finallycovering them up. The trees are already showing signs of dying and has even been acknowledged by our 4th district County commissioners but they deny any responsibility. When I contacted Ocoee Utility i was given the run around until they finally came out and talked to me like a dog in person and upon returning to the office lied about it saying that I was the aggressive person. When I went by to talk to the boss, Mr Lawson about how I was treated he also immediately launched a verbal attack blaming me without even letting me speak. He called me names and continuously belittled me. What he did not know because he wouldn't give me a moment to prove otherwise is that I had secretly recorded the incident and had proof that his worker was in fact the guilty party and I also have him on recording doing the same while pointing fingers at me. This company obviously has issues treating folks with respect and I can prove it. I'm not sure how Mr. Lawson obtained his position but his leadership skills are obviously lacking and he could desperately use some customer service training at the very least. If you deal with this company over an issue please consider recording your discussion because they only have their interest in mind and will willingly lie to and on you for their own self righteous mentality. After reading other reviews before I finally got to speak with someone I decided I would record the interactions and I highly advise others to do the same if you are unfortunate enough to deal with them as they will try to bully you as well.

Have automatic payments set up, one is showing pending on my online banking, the funds are there... turned off water without warning at the end of day and no-one picking up the phone at the office... Update: come to find out, the shut off was planned for a repair, at the very least they could have notified their accounts... there are systems that can send a text at a click of a button....
