    My friend had recommended Penna Electric after I explained to him our situation. I contacted Penna Electric and several other electrical companies hoping to receive an estimate on the work we needed done after renovating our home several months ago prior to moving in. They were the only company besides our contractor who got back to us. They had someone come out and give us an estimate about a week after my initial phone call. They provided us with a good estimate; but we realized we needed to make a slight change to the proposal. Once the change was made, they sent us a new proposal showing the cost increase, with which we were fine. We were originally scheduled to have everything done September 21st - 24th; but on Tuesday, they called and were able to get the job done this week and within 2 days. I was elated! All of the workers who helped get the job done were extremely nice, showed up on time and were very respectful. We now have a new panel, all my lights and outlets work, and now my husband (with help from a friend) can install our oven. We waited four months to have someone else do this and we could never get on the schedule. We are extremely grateful Penna Electrical came through.

    I reached out to Todd Penna, President of Penna Electric in Redondo Beach CA, for an estimate to install a 240 volt line in my garage. Todd came the same afternoon and provided a written estimate later that day. The installation was completed around 10 days later. The installers were Jermin, Memo, and Guillermo, each of whom was professional and very respectful. The work was completed as I requested and within a few hours. Each cleaned up any debris remaining from the installation. I was fully satisfied with their work and would recommend Penna Electric for future installations.

    I sent a quote request to Penna Electric via Yelp and received a response to schedule an estimate appointment. I spoke with a lady named Jaime (JAY-Me) for a week later as their next available opening. I was visited by Todd Penna, founder and CEO, which I greatly appreciated as it showed that the ownership is still hands on when dealing with potential customers and is more than willing to get dirty because their name is more than who they are. Todd acknowledged my need to upgrade my service panel and add a sub-panel to the garage, along with the possibility of doing a complete home rewire. Todd and I went over everything and he itemized all that was requested along with detailing what would happen such as space required for his workers, access and the possibility of opening holes in walls. After we finished he said I would receive a proposal via email that is itemized. This allowed me to see what the total cost would be for everything I wanted and pick and choose what I needed due to budget. I called Penna Electric office and spoke with Jaime to set-up a Phase 1 proposal for only the 200 amp service and 100 amp sub-panel. A Penna Electric crew of 2 showed up on the scheduled date in the morning and after some rain shenanigans began work on the outside after installing the sub-panel and running conduit. They did enough to get the old panel out and install the new panel and neatly wire it up so we power after they finish. The same crew came back the next day to wire the sub-panel, stucco what they cut out and patch a cut-out of drywall. They also checked and labeled the panel before cleaning up and finishing for the day. They gave me a call while I was at work to report they finished. I appreciate that they were very respectful to my mother who was there to give them access and deliver final payment. While I do not care about COVID-19 protocols, they did show up wearing mask and being respectful of social distancing. Overall, this was my first time using Penna Electric and it will not be my last. I will definitely give Todd and his crew the work that I cant handle. Highly recommend
