  They never answer the phone. And I mean never. When you can actually get a hold of Voicemail, they don’t ever return calls. I mean never. Someone needs to hold this city accountable. Petersburg has one of the highest tax rates in Virginia. This is an outrage! Answer your phone! Return phone calls!

  If I could give them less than a one star I would. Unprofessional, inept, poorly run and a glowing example of why the city of Petersburg, VA will NEVER be more than it is right now. The biggest mistake we made was buying a home in Petersburg, VA. Water bills are not mailed when they are supposed to and when trying to settle the matter the supervisor was rude and unprofessional asking when we questioned how an empty house can use so much water his reply was "where did the water go"? He was extremely condescending and unprofessional. Customer service in the city government of Petersburg is completely appalling.

  Should be less than one star. Phone is not answered. Departmetn numbers not provided. Website does not provide info. Will not buy home in city if this is there way of doing business. why would I pay taxes if services are not rendered.
