  Just wanted to pass along my thanks to Larry Touchet and Andrew Meekins for performing near miracles to speed up installation of our Generac standby generator that was needed to support critical medical equipment where we are without power for sporadic power outages throughout the year. They were very thoughtful and professional throughout the process.

  This was the first time we used Provident Electric Company but it definitely will not be the last. John came in this morning, on time, and installed 4 outside light fixtures all in less than 1 hour. He was very professional and did a great job! He explained all of our questions in detail and made sure we understood. Their prices are very reasonable. I will let anybody know if the need an electrician this is the company to call!!   For years we experienced multiple power outages and decided our next house would have a whole house generator. We built our new house and planned from the beginning to have a whole house generator. Not knowing where to turn, Generac sent us to Larry at Provident Electric. Larry came out within 2 days of our call and guided us through all of the options. Larry is professional, knowledgeable, and above all, very trustworthy. We settled on our generator and planned for its installation. Larry worked with our GC and made it happen. Now that we had a generator, we assumed we would probably not have to use it. That assumption went out the window after last night. A micro burst with lightning, hail, thunder and winds up to 80-90mph ripped through our rural neighborhood. Several trees knocked down the power lines at 4am. In less than 10 seconds the Generac automatically kicked on and power was restored. I was so appreciative of the fact that during this national and worldwide time of crisis we had power and not only for ourselves but for our neighbors as well. The power was finally restored at 5pm. Big shout out to all the crews who worked all morning and day to make that happen. Throughout the process of our home build Larry, his wife and entire team were always available whenever I called upon them. It is my privilege to call Larry a friend and we now consider Larry and his family part of ours. We highly recommend Provident Electric and the Generac Generator. My father always says it is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Today couldn’t have been more true. Thanks again Larry!!! Warren & Kristin
