R and T was fantastic. We lost half of our power on our second floor the day before thanksgiving and we had guests staying there. They were able to come over on the same day, sent 2 technicians, diagnosed, and fixed the issue in about 2 hours. I thought for sure I would pay a premium cost for it being the day before the holiday and for same day service, but they were incredibly affordable at only $300. I was thrilled with the service I received and would gladly hire them again.

I recently purchased a new home. The inspector found several electrical issues and hired R&T Electric to fix the issues. Jen at the office yells each time I call. I did some remodeling in my attic and the contractor drilled through one of the wires. I had R&T Electric come to troubleshoot because I wasn't sure if that was the cause of not. I had a few other issues I wanted looked at at te same time as I had other outlets not working. The guy came on Friday at his scheduled time after waiting several days without power in several rooms. Once we figured out what the cause was for one issue, the technician said he had to leave for another appointment and would need to come back on Monday. I said that was fine because I had Monday off from work. I had the contractor fix the wiring issue over the weekend, so that solved one electrical issue. Monday comes, I didn't know when they were coming but I called and left a message to find out and they never called. I called again and they said they didn't have me on their schedule. They were pretty rude again when I spoke with Jen, and she yells at me whenever I call. I had to speak to them again afterwards to establish them coming out because they screwed up their schedule but said they could have technician come for 90/hour. I told them I had additional work I would like done and wanted estimates. I asked if there was a charge for the estimate. They said No. So 3 or 4 guys show up and I thought that was a little extreme but I asked them if I was getting charged for holiday rates (Presidents Day) and for each guy. They couldn't answer. They said the office handles that. So they troubleshoot one outlet fine. The other they couldn't and said the wire was cut or something because no connecuity. They told me that they would need to run a new line through the attic floor and I asked about other work at the same time. There was not supposed to be any charge for estimates. They confirmed that we were at 1 hour then. So I get my invoice for 325.00 in addition to the 99.99 for the first visit. I called to ask about the charges and they start screaming at me etc. I told them I would pay but their service was no longer needed. They were pretty rude and unprofessional in the office. The technicians were great. But I don't think I deserve to be treated like that when I am paying for their services. I will not use them again.

Disappointed that person on phone and then the visit for estimate were both s bit rude and condescending. Definitely, not the R & T we had used for years! After 5 days, no call. I called R & T and informed not to finish estimate if startes, I would be going with another company.
