REMC - glad to be a member/owner of this local electric cooperative. All of the staff that I have interacted with over the years have been helpful, professional and courteous. Power restoration has always been fast and safe. Heck, they even produce a wonderful magazine! Keep up the great work Randolph Electric! Enjoy!

We are serviced by the Robbins office, so my knowledge and experience is only with them. We are extremely pleased with the electric service AND the customer service that we have received. We think they are absolutely the best company to deal with. We were on Randolph Electric about 15+/- years ago, and after a move-were serviced by Duke Energy (Progress Energy for most of it). We spent almost 13 years with them, and hated every moment of it. The customer service was mostly non existent (referred me to the website for most everything)-but the worst part were the rates. When we built and moved into our "forever home" 9 months ago- We were extremely pleased when we learned that we were back on the Randolph Electric grid! Our home is 600 ft from the road, so getting service brought back that far was a real effort. The total cost was high (so much per foot). Randolph Electric office was GREAT about working with us to delay payment until a bank loan draw was complete. I work for a construction company, and can tell you FIRST HAND that Duke Energy will not attempt to be helpful. Like I said, we are 600 feet off the road, and our service is consistent, with zero problems. The one time we had an outage, due to an auto accident somewhere - we were back on with only a few hours. Their billing rate always seems great. Basically, we highly recommend!!! - At least the Robbins service area. I don't think that other service areas would be different. I mean, it's the same company after all:-)

When there was about five inches of snow in the late afternoon a tree fell a block away and brought down the power line. It broke the electric pole. I called Randolph Electric to report it. I could tell it wasn't a simple fix and after 9 just 5 hours my power was back on. I really appreciate Randolph Electric and the crews who gave me power back so quickly. I am very thankful for their service.
