  Hired Rich while finishing our basement It took quite a few no shows by him. Excuses after excuses on why he couldn't come. Why he has to cancel. Several no shows no calls while I waited. Months would go by with no response to repeated calls and text messages. For the most part he seems very friendly and we liked his candor with us. The job is still not complete. He won't respond. I asked him for the items and I would install. Still nothing. All in all I have a couple hundred dollars of work to be completed that I can do myself. However he said he was comng back. So I paid him. I had him sign to be sure I have a recourse. He kept saying you know me. Glad I did my due diligence. Time to seek legal action.

  DO NOT HIRE THIS SCAM ARTIST! He does not deserve even one start. Tried to be nice and tell him we understand things happen, please just return our call and refund the deposist he took in June. It is now September. Hired "Rich" the owner of RDS Electrical Servicese to do a job for our pool install, hot tub electric and outdoor kitchen. He took our $2000.00 deposit without a problem. He has had months to do the job. He will not return calls. He never started the job. We will be seeing him in court. THAT IS AS FACT!

  I hired Rich (RDY Electrical Services) to troubleshoot electric no longer flowing to a bedroom. I told him it could be due to an outlet I recently replaced. He was at my location for an hour. He told me the outlet I replaced had nothing to do with the other room. Told me he had to have another guy come with him next week to figure it out. He charged me for an hour of diagnosing nothing. Next week he comes back with Zack. Arrive at 10:14. By 1043 Zack has found the problem. Guess where!! In the outlet where I said the problem might be. Offers to have Zack autograph the outlet for me. (Really?) (The problem with the outlet was ... when I replaced the outlet, I broke off that clip, because I thought it was required for the type of install I was doing. But ... because that outlet DOES control the flow to the other room, the clip should have remained intact). Zack puts in a new outlet, clip intact. Rich goes to his truck for about 12 minutes and comes back to deliver the bill. When I see what he's charging me ... and he sees my face, he adjusted the price by $30. without me having said a word. He takes my check, goes to his truck and I go out there to question him about his practices and pricing. He tells me he was there an hour with Zack. I said "You showed up at 10:14 and were done at 1045" He said "Oh, I didn't look at the time." I then ask him "Couldn't YOU have found this problem last week, when you were here for an hour?" His response "I missed it." Him "missing it" cost me $$. He drives away with my check. I send him a message via messenger telling him basically 'Shame on you. That was a one man job. If you couldn't diagnose THAT, well I'd be embarrassed ..." The only response I got was him cashing my check. Note: I'm not one for posting Yelp reviews. I like to think Karma takes care of most things. But this ... I'd be remiss if I didn't share my experience. Choose wisely.
