  I am very pleased with our Highway Department. I called them about potholes on our road, and they were filled in the next day. Some of the paving that needs to be done will have to wait till Spring when it warms up.

  Out of all county roads in Dayton, Smyrna Rd is by far the worst. Every citizen, by proxy, benefits from this road being properly maintained due to the landfill being here. Try dodging potholes, dump trucks, and semi trucks daily. It needs fixed before some really gets hurt. Big trucks also try to avoid the portholes and are always in the middle of the road. Not to mention, it stays a muddy mess and the guy that "sometimes" uses the street sweeper does not care if you're trying to pass and will spin mud all over your vehicles. It was not like this a few years ago. Sad!!!

  My ditch line has been filled with debris from the flood last year. It took them a while to get to it but when they did. It was an excellent job. Thank you
